Small Contractor's Program (SCP) 

The Small Contractor’s Program (SCP) is a program under the Affordable Housing Development Program which allows contractors to develop small scale projects. This Program is intended to provide support to small businesses and to spur economic growth in the area of development. The Small Contractor Programs was funded with $1M through a partnership with Virgin Islands Economic Development Authority (VIEDA).

The Small Contractor Loan Program afford contractors with an opportunity to access lines of credit to build high-quality, affordable housing. Workshops were held in April 2014 in both districts to apprise contractors on the details of the Program and to provide an understanding as to how to gain access to financing for their projects and inform contractors on to access collateral support for their projects in conjunction with VIEDA.
