The Virgin Islands Housing Finance Authority ("VIHFA") routinely creates partnerships and contracts with all types of vendors to achieve its mission. The VIHFA executes agreements with Developers, small construction contractors, tradesmen, service providers and suppliers to carry out its mandate of providing affordable housing in the United States Virgin Islands ("USVI").
The VIHFA solicits vendors through it procurement system which allows for fair and equitable treatment of all persons or firms involved in purchasing by the VIHFA. This system also ensures the efficient procurement of supplies and services at the most favorable prices available in accordance with applicable State/Territory, and local laws.
All stakeholders are encouraged to register with the VIHFA to be notified of current solicitations for good and services.
The mission of the Virgin Islands Housing Finance Authority could never be completed without the assistance of vendors. In order to become a vendor with the VIHFA, businesses are required to be duly organized, validly existing, qualified and licensed to conduct business with the United States Virgin Islands. The documentation that is required to become a VIHFA vendor varies depending on the type of goods and services. The VIHFA's standard Contract Document Checklist and Contract Information Form will help you better understand the guidelines and expectations. Please read each solicitation carefully and follow the guidelines set forth within.
